Inexpensive Car washing Tips

By mixing a little bit of hair conditioner with some clean water, you can create an inexpensive car wash that will leave your car with a shiny finish. It will even repel water. Use a conditioner than contains an ingredient called lanolin for the even better results. It will look like your car was just waxed when you get done.

Having trouble removing an old bumper sticker? Spray a little WD-40 on the left over glue and you’ll be surprised by how little elbow grease is needed to remove the residue. WD-40 is also great for removing other tough spots such as dried bugs, bird droppings, tar, and gum.

Did you know ammonia can potentially damage your window tints? Ditch the ammonia based cleaners and try this simple solution. Combine a quarter cup of alcohol with a half cup of water and half a cup of vinegar. Mix well and pour in a spray bottle. For a flawless finish, wipe your windows down with crumpled newspaper.

*Although these tips are harmless, it’s always a good idea to test on a small area first just to be on the safe side.
